A Dream Of You Dreaming is a public artpiece designed for the facade of the Capp Street Project. Based upon a long list of dreams, written by the artist, the piece invites the passerby/viewer to participate by submitting their own contribution to the list. Those submissions are then incorporated into the piece, causing the work to grow and change over time.

The upper row of these first floor windows contains nine images, one in each window. These images are 60 x 34 inch color photographs of the full moon in a black sky. Every image has different text, each describing a dream, such as: "a dream of the original plan" or "a dream of the expansion of space."

The lower row of windows contains white panels lined out in the manner of children's penmanship ledgers. These panels completely fill the lower windows, save for a 4" tall strip along the bottom of each window in the center section. Within this space, an LED sign sits on the sill of each window. These four LED signs have a long, continuously-running list of dreams written by the artist. Individual passers-by are invited to write down their own dreams and submit them. That text is then written up in black on the white panels. The handwriting is in child's penmanship style. During the course of the installation, a complete set of nine panels was filled every three days from submitted dreams.
